My research interest involves the emerging field of cardio-oncology, an area in which at the moment we have found more questions than answers; pathways that link cancer and heart disease as common risk factors (such as obesity), issues of cardio-toxicity due to cancer treatment agents, as well as cross-talk between malignant cancer cells and cardiovascular system.
